Lightning Events is a family owned and operated event entertainment company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We offer many entertainment options and specialize in Novelties. The company was started in early 2012 as Queen City Novelties. We have grown a lot since 2012 and now have a new look and new name, but our close relationships with clients, attention to detail, and superior products have remained constant. As we continue to grow, and change, we will continue to strive for perfection, we will remain steadfast in our beliefs that our clients deserve the very best, and we will always work hard to bring you the finest event entertainment available.

Meet The owners

Hello! We are Jake and Bryanna Bracey! Welcome to our story! We met in 2010, within a few months we were engaged and married. A streak of bad luck hit, and we ended up both loosing our jobs. We decided to take our future into our own hands, and combined our creative talents, our knowledge, and our passion for making people happy, to create Lightning Events!  During the first year,  we worked odd jobs while putting all of our time and money into our business. We had to put everything we had, which was not a lot, into equipment and supplies. For a while it was slow, but with each new event we had new hopes of becoming successful. Fast forward a few years and we are now growing faster than we could have ever hoped! We have built great professional relationships and friendships with our clients. We have created new novelties and higher standards for quality in the industry. We are so lucky to be able to work together and to make a living by making people happy!

Our family currently consists of one very handsome dog Oreo, our pretty girl Luna, and our sassy cat Azucar. In our down time we enjoy spending time with friends and family, binge watching shows or movies on Netflix and going to Disney World!
